BIOGRAPHY
Alexander Haydn Jones
At the time of writing, I have just finished a Film degree at University Wales Trinity Saint David for which I achieved a (1:1) Hons. I have just completed working on my second short film as well as my own content development and creation.
When, as a child, my dreams of playing for Arsenal came to a halt, I decided that film was my second career option. I made several (dreadful and potentially career destroying) adaptations of my favourite films with my sister in hope of emulating my directing icons. It fulfilled what I always knew that was inside of me. That I love film.
My experiences range from working with clients to produce promotional videos for a Swansea Football club; to a business pilot to promote Autism awareness; to working with the Swansea city council; to turning a film festival idea in my first year of college to a strong and now annual festival in its third year.
My other experiences include working with production companies, working as a script supervisor, and making my own film from a short story by Stephen King. For which won my first film award. I have also been interviewed by the Stephen King website about my film and the process it took to make it.
My second film 'The Night We Met' has just been released to the world, it is the second but certainly not the last film I make.

THE NIGHT WE MET
July 2019
The Night We Met is a coming of age drama that I developed from an idea I had about the choices we make. Specifically, the choice of a man at the train station who regretted never speaking to a girl at the annual school dance who may well be the love of his life. There at the station he meets a woman who has run away from her wedding. They meet and discuss in real time the consequences of regret and the memory.
